Just to let you know about a disaster that happened over the weekend.
I was planning to film a gun fight, so I can practice editing it, as well as some FX.
I arranged for the kids. I got the guns.
I even had a brand new, blank tape!
I recharged the battery for the camera. (This was Friday night).
On Sat morning, we were about to leave...
I picked up the camera, strapped the battery on the back and........
...NOTHING!
The battery, although having a FULL 10 Hours to recharge, was completely dead.
This was the ONLY battery I had.
The only other option I had was to use Mains power, but as I was planning of filming about at least a mile from any mains power, that was useless to me.
So, the moral of the story is...
P.P.P.P.P.P
(Planning / Preporation Prevents Piss Poor Performance.)
Oh, by the way, I think the camera itself is a bit fooked, as it's flickering.
ANY IDEAS?

sounds familiar.
Remember that your camera is the most important peice of equipment you have. If you dont trust it then no one will trust you. Get a camera you know and like. (or get a spare battery:-))
